SAC has just purchased compostable plates, cups, and utensils. They will be requiring all student groups to use or purchase from this stash. Student groups will not get funding for "normal" paper plates and plastic cups any more!
The company they've ordered from is called Eco-Products, based out of Boulder, CO.
Awesome news!

Welcome!
Welcome to the GU EcoAction's new webpage and our first ever blog! Renewable energy turns us on, and so does being news-savvy! This blog will soon become a go-to place for environmental news as well as campus-wide and DC-wide events, activism, and more!
I would also like to extend a farewell and good wishes to Tripti Bhattacharya, Dan Bliss, Annie McBride, and Maggie Curme--past board members who will now be going abroad.
